Notes on tonight's Fringe
Feb. 10th, 2009 09:59 pmYou know the drill...yada, yada, yada....don't enter if you haven't seen the eppy.
* Anna Torv continues to impress. I'm seeing a lot more variations in her facial expressions. It works.
* Loved how much Olivia and Peter worked together during this eppy. Show should definitely keep this going.
* Intriguing episode overall. I don't especially like Abrams rehashing an old storyline, but we'll see where this leads. In his series, Alias, the lead character Sydney Bristow learns she was trained from a young age, groomed to be the government agent she became. Olivia was given a certain drug as a young child and now she's learning she has certain abilities.
* I wanna see the other tests in that box. :)
* I like how spunky Olivia was, towards the book guy and towards Harris, who is still as annoying as ever.
* Walter never did get that coffee cake. Heh.
* When Olivia stayed with the bomb to turn out the lights and disable it, I was literally willing Peter to stay with her after he initially turned away. So happy he went back to be with her. :)
* So the manifest was typed on Walter's typwriter? Or Walter typed it? Wha????
On another note: OMG! That trailer for "Watchmen" was incredible! I have no idea what it's about, besides a group of superheroes, but it was soooooo cool! Wow! :D
