VanCon: I'm still here...

raloriaWhew! Sorry for being absent for the past 2 days gang. VanCon totally took over my world this weekend. I barely had time to eat & sleep much less be online. But oh, do I have stories and pics to share!!!! *bounces*
I've been away from LJ for 2 whole days and yes, I am going through withdrawl. :P
Um....what to say? Um....I'm still feeling the Jensen afterglow. Hee! I'll leave it at that for now. ;)
Despite one little hitch in the event for me, the entire VanCon experience, while utterly exhausting, was completely exhilarating and FUN!!!!!! I had a blast! I made some great new friends, met a bunch of my flist, and had the experience of a lifetime.
I don't have the rest of my photos uploaded to the laptop yet, but I might be tempted to share a few before the night is over. We'll see how things go. ;) I will say that my camera really came through for me and the photos I have are AMAZING! People at the Con kept coming up to me and asking when I'd be posting them online. :)
Sat. & Sun. were a total thrill ride. Saturday was Aldis, Jake, the Ghostfacer dudes, & Misha. While Sunday was the boys, Jim, and Richard. I don't know what to share with you now. I'd kind of like to save it for a bigger post about the Con. I know....I'm such a tease. :P
Truth is, I have so much to share and so much to remember and I'm still sort of processing it all. Oh, yeah and the whole meeting Jensen thing sort of melted my brain cells. Go figure! :P
Oh, okay...I'll tell you one thing about Jensen & Jared....
* Jensen: OMG! He's so incredibly slender.
* Jared: Yes, he really is that tall (even for me!)! lol
Hee! I know, not much, but I gotta save the good stuff for later. ;)
Meanwhile, we're still here in lovely Vancouver. We decided to stay one more day. We checked out a few locations in the afternoon. And um....as good as I am at finding locations online, I kinda suck at finding them in the real world. LOL! No, really...we didn't do too badly. We did find some. It just took a lot of work to get to them! We got to 7 locations and that includes the studio. *squee* Yes, I have pics. ;)
We leave tomorrow morning and plan on hunting down more locations before we head for the border and home by the evening. I'll try and get some pics up soon. Sorry about the lack of Just 'Cause posts. *wibbles* There went my perfect running streak after all. Oh, well. It was worth it to meet the boys! One will be posted for Tuesday. :D
Ooof! Meanwhile I ate a huge supper & dessert at the restaurant here. I'm stuffed! Gotta go try & catch up on all things LJ. Eeep. So behind.
