A new show added into the mix with the premiere of V tonight means a full night of ABC network watching for me.

V:
I have fond memories of this series from watching it as a kid in the 1980s. We still have it on Beta tape. :) So seeing the ads over the past month or so finally broke me down and I decided to watch it. Plus, I'd read some really good reviews. It was an enjoyable first hour, but I was kind of surprised they revealed the identity of the Visitors so quickly. Clearly they're moving things up from the older series, though the teenager getting recruited by the Visitors is right out of the original. I keep wondering if they're going to have a big baddie like the original's Diana. Heh. She was a kick! Anyway, it's intriguing.

Oh, I saw a couple of familiar SPN faces: One of the thieves from "Bad Day At Black Rock" and a brief glimpse of Matt from "Bugs". :)

Dancing With The Stars:
The cool: Performances by Colbie Calait and Rod Stewart.
The uncool: Mark Ballas & Derek Hough premiering their new single, "Move". Um, guys? You're great dancers, but that song made no sense. Were you even singing? I couldn't even make out the words. Bleh.

So sad to see Mike & Anna and Mark & Lacey get eliminated. These double eliminations are really tough! Ugh. :(

The Forgotten:
This show has been pretty hit & miss IMO so far and tonight was no different. What was different and apparent right away was the additional humor stuck into the show.....and the eating. What was with all the eating going on? The humor was nice, though the more they stuck in the more it seemed like they were trying too hard. It's as if a memo came from some ABC executives : "Add more humor....and eating." LOL! Not sure it worked to improve the show...I was still a little bored by the end. *sigh*
