After all the great episodes we've had over 2 seasons of Supernatural, Devil's Trap is still one of my top favorites. It was the first glimpse into the high level of quality the show headed into with season two. I must admit to having a tough time choosing the caps to include with this picspam...the caps were all so beautiful! Hence a big picspam this time around. Everyone's well represented here, including Meg and Bobby.

This picspam features 85 caps from Devil's Trap. It covers the continued scene of the boys from the end of Salvation through Meg's exorcism. The caps for the first picspam of Devil's Trap can be found HERE.

Devil's Trap (continued)

Jensen easily shows all of Dean's concern over John's fate on his face. Their dad's in serious trouble and Dean's never been more scared.

An anguished facepalm, a nice neck shot, Sam's trying to figure out what's happening, and Dean says it's time to hit the road and fast.

I love this cap of Sam...so much so that I put it with the similar one of Dean on the next row of caps. I made a couple of headers from them that I'll be posting soon. All these caps in the car turned out so well, if I do say so myself.

Sam looks so lost here in the first cap. Such a striking cap of Dean!

Bobby!!!! Gotta love the guy for the two flasks, heh. He's prepared for anything. Sam enjoying the Key of Solomon book.

So many great profile shots in the ep. Hand!Flask!Porn! Great determined look in Dean's eyes before he attacks Meg. Heehee! Belly!

I managed to get some very nice images of Meg. Sam and Bobby lure Meg and Dean gives her a clue that she's trapped.

"Gotcha!" Heehee! Love the way he said it with that glaring look. The boys formulate a plan and Dean begins his interrogation of Meg.

This was the first time Dean scared me. All that anger. Even Sam looks a little concerned with his brother's emotional outburst.

Meg pushes Dean too far and gets a slap for it. Meg: "That's kind of a turn on. You hitting a girl." Dean: "You're no girl."

Bobby tells Dean there's a demon trapped in Meg's body. More lovely profiles of both brothers. It's exorcism time..."Hit it Sam".

I think I may die from these intense looks. Whoah! Meg still fighting.

More of scary Dean. *shudders* I always like it when the boys read Latin.

This first cap is another favorite, with Dean looking down at Meg with such malice. "He's not dead! He can't be!"

Dean...trying to regain some control. Finally, a breakthrough as Meg reveals that John's not dead yet.

I'd like to point out the costuming here briefly. If Jensen weren't wearing that blue shirt he'd disappear into the background. The strong blue color helps him stand out. Meanwhile, Meg accuses Dean of breaking his promise when he decides to go on with the exorcism despite her cooperation.

Sam thinks they should stop and use her for knowledge. Bobby says they're going to kill the girl, but Dean wants to put her out of her misery. He urges Sam to "finish it".

Sam completes the exorcism, sending the demon back to hell. The guys watch as the black smoke dissipates.

I always thought this was a cool camera angle on Meg. Our boys untie Meg and try to make her final moments more comfortable.

Sam doesn't like Dean continuing to question a dying girl, but Dean pushes on, saying they need to know about their dad. Sam shows his compassion as Meg gives the brothers the information they need.
