After several weeks off, the Tue/Thurs SPN Picspams are back! At least for this week and next week. Then I'll be finished with Round 2 and will take a much needed break before I prepare for Round 3. :)

This picspam contains 130 caps from Shadow. Since I covered the first scene in Meredith's apartment thoroughly in my first picspam of this episode, this time I'm moving on to the following scenes in the bar where Sam runs into Meg again.
The caps for the first picspam of Shadow can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Sam: I think there's something weird going on here. Dean: Yeah, tell me about it. She wasn’t even that into me. -- 130 caps in clickable thumbnails )

It's the Winchester men back together for this week's first picspam! Meg closes in as John and his boys try to track where the YED will strike next.

This picspam contains 56 caps from Salvation. It covers the opening scene with John telling the boys about the signs of the YED. It then goes on to the scenes about Pastor Jim's death and the three searching hospital records.
The caps for the first picspam of Salvation can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Sam: So, Mom’s death, Jessica - it’s all cause of me? Dean: We don’t know that, Sam. Sam: Oh really, cause I’d say we’re pretty damn sure, Dean! Dean: For the last time, what happened to them is not your fault. Sam: Yeah, you’re right, it’s not my fault, but it’s my problem! Dean: No, it’s not your problem. It’s our problem! -- 56 caps in clickable thumbnails )

I'm a little late with this week's first SPN picspam, but as the saying goes...better late than never. And we all need our SPN fix, don't we? :)

This picspam contains 68 caps from Provenance. It fills in the first scene at the bar and also covers that great scene the following morning in the car....with Dean recovering from his night out...heh. ;)
The caps for the first picspam of Provenance can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Sam: So, what are we today, Dean? Are we rock stars? Are we army rangers? Dean: Reality TV scouts looking for people with special skills. I mean, hey, it’s not that far off, right? By the way, she’s got a friend over there. I could probably hook you up, what do you think? Sam: Dean, no thanks, I can get my own dates. Dean: Yeah, you can, but you don’t. -- 68 caps in clickable thumbnails )

Those of you on my Flist already know about this, but I can now view SPN in Hi-Def! *squee* :D

So I have a special surprise picspam for everyone!!! Woot! :D

When AHBL pt 1 aired last Thursday, I was able to record it straight onto DVD in all its High Definition glory! I was amazed at the clarity and sharpness of the picture. No more graininess, no more annoying interference lines to mar our handsome boys!

I made some select caps from the recording and managed to make them larger than I usually do (77 caps at 953 x 536). I think they turned out quite well. Enjoy!

I'm off to buy the S2 DVD set now! *bounces* :D

This picspam features 66 caps, covering the entire first scene as Sam wakes up Dean with coffee and a past client, Jerry, calls with a new problem. We then follow the boys to the airport where Jerry has them listen to the black box recording from a crashed jet that has some unusual sounds.
The caps for the first picspam of Phantom Traveler can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Sam: Mornin’, sunshine. Dean: What time is it? Sam: It’s about 5:45. Dean: In the morning? Sam: Yep. Dean: Where does the day go? -- 66 caps in clickable thumbnails )

Ah, Hookman...one of the early episodes of Season One. With Sam getting the girl (sort of) and Dean left to do all the dirty work (literally).

This picspam features 44 caps, covering the entire first scene of the brothers at the outdoor cafe and then at the frat house where they learn about Lorie, who was the last person to see the victim alive. The caps for the first picspam of Hookman can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Dean: Your, uh, half-caff double vanilla latte's getting cold over here, Francis. Sam: Bite me. -- 44 caps in clickable thumbnails )

Time for some fun this week with caps from Hell House. While I found Hollywood Babylon and Tall Tales to surpass this episode for laughs, Hell House is still a fun, enjoyable romp with the Winchester brothers. In fact, I'd love to see another episode like this one, with the boys continuing their prank war.

This picspam features 36 caps, covering Dean's first prank with Sam in the car and going through their first interview with Craig at the record shop. The caps for the first picspam of Hell House can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Dean: What's the matter, Sammy? You afraid you gonna get a little Nair in your shampoo again, huh? Sam: All right. Just remember you started it. Dean: Oh, bring it on, baldy. -- 36 caps in clickable thumbnails )

After all the great episodes we've had over 2 seasons of Supernatural, Devil's Trap is still one of my top favorites. It was the first glimpse into the high level of quality the show headed into with season two. I must admit to having a tough time choosing the caps to include with this picspam...the caps were all so beautiful! Hence a big picspam this time around. Everyone's well represented here, including Meg and Bobby.

This picspam features 85 caps from Devil's Trap. It covers the continued scene of the boys from the end of Salvation through Meg's exorcism. The caps for the first picspam of Devil's Trap can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Dean: Where's our father, Meg? Meg: You didn't ask very nice. Dean: Where's our father, bitch? -- 85 caps in clickable thumbnails )

The next S1 episode to picspam is Dead In The Water aka Jensen's favorite episode. There are 37 caps here, filling out the scene at the diner that was capped before and then moving on through to the scene in the motel room where they find out Lucas's dad was the first victim. The caps for the first picspam of Dead In The Water can be found HERE.

A little teaser...

Sam: Kids are the best? You don't even like kids. Dean: I love kids. Sam: Name three children that you even know. Dean: I'm thinking! -- 37 caps in clickable thumbnails )

Thank you to everyone who voted in my Poll about the future of my picspams. The results were 16 to 14 in favor of me keeping S2 caps out of my weekly picspams until I get the DVD set in Sept. So S1 caps it is until I reach the end of the titles in alphabetical order.

There are 37 caps from Bloody Mary here, finishing off the scene from where I left off before in the coroner's office and including some caps from the scene before in the car. Then we see the boys go to the dead man's house to question his daughters. If you want to see the caps from the 1st cap post of Bloody Mary, you can find it HERE.

A little teaser...

Dean: Dude! I earned that money! Sam: You won it in a poker game. Dean: Ye-eah. -- 37 caps in clickable thumbnails )

I apologize for posting this picspam so late, but I had some work I had to do for my online class and then Photobucket felt the need to do some maintenance right when I was trying to upload my caps. Grrrr! But I wasn't about to let this post wait any longer. I've got a schedule to keep. So here it is...even if it's not Tuesday anymore.

There are 30 caps from Asylum here, finishing off the scene from where I left off before and continuing on to the short scene at the bar. If you want to see the caps from the 1st Asylum cap post you can find it HERE.

Btw, if you haven't voted in my poll about whether to wait with including caps from S2 episodes until I get the DVD set in Sept. - please take a second to vote. Last time I checked the results were close (they were even tied yesterday). Luckily for this week the episodes are from S1, but I need to know for next week's picspams.

A little teaser...I can't get over the nearly matching smirks - the little charmers. Heh.

Dean: You shoved me kinda hard in there buddy boy. Sam: I had to sell it. Didn't I? It's method acting. Dean: Huh? Sam: Never mind. -- 30 caps in clickable thumbnails )

We come around again to the beginning of the alphabet for our episode titles with AHBL, part 1. This first picspam of the week features 36 caps covering the first two scenes of the episode. I just want to point out again that the quality, and therefore the small size of the caps, is due to them being taken from an .avi file. I hope to do much better once I get the DVDs.

A little teaser...

Dean: Hey, don't forget the extra onions this time, huh? Sam: Dude! I'm the one that's gonna have to ride in the car with your extra onions. -- 36 caps in clickable thumbnails )

I'm doing something a little different for this week's SPN Picspams, centering on one episode - What Is And What Should Never Be.

As those on my flist already know, I had some problems capping this episode due to trying out a new media player to make the screencaps. Long story-short, what I ended up with was two batches of caps, one of which numbered over 1,200! Hours of sorting later I ended up with a large group of incomplete caps for the episode. This is one of my favorite episodes of S2, however, and I didn't want to skimp on all the caps I'd worked so hard on.

So what I've ended up doing is breaking the episode up into two picspams - one for Dean and one for Sam. Understandibly there's more caps of Dean, since this is his episode. Thursday's Picspam will feature Sam's caps.

A little teaser...

Sam, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that we don't get along. And I wish to hell I could stay and fix it. But I gotta do this. People's lives depend on it. -- 65 caps in clickable thumbnails. )

Wendigo is one of those so-so episodes for me simply because I haven't seen it as many times as some other eppys. It gave us our first (and only?) bad guy in a costume which worked for the most part with help from dark scenes. Then there's all the good stuff: Sam all dark and broody as he deals with Jessica's death, Dean being all flirty yet honest with a girl, peanut M&Ms as survival food, the talk by the campfire outlining the Family Business, tied up and hurt Dean (that never gets old), and Sam's first turn at driving the Impala.

There are 33 caps in this week's first picspam, all made by me from the DVD set. Once again it's Sam-heavy with a little of Dean thrown in. I think we'll make up for that, though, with Thursday's picspam. :)

A little teaser...

Dean: You wanna drive for a while? Sam: Dean...your whole life you never once asked me that. -- 33 caps in clickable thumbnails. )

Something Wicked was another Dean-centric episode from S1. It gave us some insight into the childhood of the brothers with some nice flashbacks as Dean almost makes a fatal mistake. As Sam starts to connect their current case with Dean's evasiveness on the subject of the Shtriga, he realizes for the first time the responsibilities laid upon his older brother at a young age. There's lots of Dean!Angst, Concerned!Sammy, and some nice brotherly moments.

Da-Da-Da-Daaaaaaaaah! Yes! The twice weekly SPN picspams have returned! "And there was much rejoycing."

We begin the week with caps from Simon Said. When you think back on it, this episode had a lot going on. We have Sam's visions, a visit to the Roadhouse with Ellen, Jo, and Ash (aka Dr. Badass), our first introduction to Andy, Dean singing(!), Dean giving the Impala away, Star Wars references (He full on Obi-Waned me!), Dean being the great big brother protector that he is, Dean nearly getting killed, and then Sam tells Ellen all about his psychic powers and the other special children. Phew! That's a lot to pack into one hour.

So I'm a freak now? )

Scarecrow isn't one of my top favorite episodes, probably because it's the first time we see the brothers apart from one another, with nearly disastrous results. Sam, being frustrated over not being able to find their father, heads out on his own, meeting Meg in the process and introducing us to one of the YED's children. Dean ends up in the fun town of Burkitsville, Indiana where the pagan god of a scarecrow is killing tourist couples who pass through. The brotherly dynamic isn't always there, though their discussion and apology scene via cell phone helps. In the end, Sam comes to Dean's rescue just in time, the scarecrow is defeated, and the brothers once again hit the road together.

You're after it, aren't you? The thing that killed mom. )

Route 666 may not be a fan favorite, but the S1 epsiode did have its moments. One in particular leaps to mind...mmmmmm.....Dean.

You TOLD her?! The big family secret? Rule number one - we do what we do and we shut up about it? )

It struck me as I was capping this episode how carefree the boys were in the first season. They looked young, fresh-faced and innocent (especially Sam). Sadly a lot of that was lost in the second season. I'm not complaining, though, just making an observation. It's always good to see characters develop and grow and the Winchester brothers have certainly shown that in these two seasons so far.

Enough of my rambling...you came here to see caps.

So what are we today, Dean? Rock stars? Are we army rangers? )

raloria: (Default)
It's time to get a little nostalgic and look back to when the boys were all fresh-faced and innocent looking. I'm talking about the episode that started it all...the Pilot.

Dad's on a hunting trip, and he hasn't been home in a few days. )
