Sorry for the late notice, but I just got to a computer. Supernatural was filming August 7th in Whiterock on 162nd (I'm pretty sure at least.) at a place called Holy Smokes Coffee or something like that. I was there and watched a little bit of filming. Jared and Katie Cassidy were there. Jensen was supposed to come at 5 o'clock which was around the time I left. At 8 o'clock that night, they were moving to another location in Cresent beach where they were going to be filming till 2am.
On August 8th, Supernatural was filming at the Denny's on Marine drive and Capilano Road in North Vancouver. They had changed the sign of the Denny's and were filming inside. The impala was parked out side. I talked to a PA and she said that if we had been there earlier (We got there at 5ish) Jensen and Jared were filming right outside and we would have had a perfect viewing opportunity. But the rest of the night they were filming scenes inside. The PA also said they were only there for today.

I love Denny's restaurants. I've probably eaten at more of them than any other restaurant in my life. They were always the reliable place to eat when my parents and I used to travel across the country when I was a kid. Many Denny's restaurants now have a diner look to them, so that's probably why they chose to film there.
Here's a general map of the Vancouver area to show the location of White Rock where they filmed on the 7th and the Denny's up in North Vancouver where they filmed on the 8th. I've also marked the studio's location. As you can see, they were very close to the U.S./Canadian border! That much closer to me! *squee*
I couldn't find the exact location of the coffee shop, but here's where the Denny's in North Vancouver is:
