Despite getting up late, I was determined to get back to walking today. There's only 3 months until VanCon!!! Eeeek!!!! Coming up way too fast for my liking. So I hit the pavement hard this afternoon. Lucked out with the weather. It was overcast and cool (mid 50s), but it had stopped raining momentarily. Took the big loop thru our neighborhood (no hill) twice. I really tried to walk faster than I normally do. Kept reminding myself how fast I walked in Vancouver last year between hotels. Good motivation. It was a little painful - that stubborn left leg protested, but I kept on.

Btw, welcome my new flisters to my little Walking posts. I'm walking for my overall health, plus I'm trying to lose some weight before VanCon at the end of August. Wish me luck! I'm gonna need it. :P
