SPN S5 Rewatch: 5x01, 5x02, & 5x03

spn_westcoast, I thought I'd do something here on my own journal.
As I'm watching the reruns, I find myself noticing things I didn't with the original broadcasts. I don't have to pay so much attention to certain aspects because I know them and questions I never thought of before come to the forefront.
+ So in this eppy we have "asshat" and in 5x22 we have "assbutt"...heehee! ♥ show
+ I still like Becky. :P Sure, she's not every fan, but let's face it...there's parts of her characteristics in all of us.
+ I just realized that shirt in Dean's duffel is from S1's "Home". :D Oh, and AHBL. ;)
+ Meg is still out there (one of the few characters to survive S5). It'd be cool to see her again in S6.
+ I love Dean's speech, even if he didn't believe it then. They did fight the demons and angels their way...and it worked. :)
+ I like the way Jared's leaning against the door frame at the hospital. Hee! Kinda sexy....
+ Okay....how did Cas know Sam's cell phone number?
+ I wonder if Zachariah put out the "amulet as God-finding EMF" info. to keep Castiel busy and off his tail? 'Cause we all know it didn't turn out to work in finding God at all.
+ Day-um! I forgot how sexy Jensen is in that black jacket. If Dean can't wear the leather jacket that black one is a close second in my book. *guh*
+ Yikes. Sam looking all guilty, even though he didn't drink any of that blood. Though Dean doesn't know that....*sigh* The division begins....
+ Rufus is still alive after S5 as well.
+ Niiiice transition from Sam getting slapped to Dean's profile.
+ OMG......Dean saying that low-pitched "yes" to Rufus....*flails & dies*
+ I still love the montage of the boys separated set to "Simple Man".
+ I still giggle over the "Eat it, Twilight" line. :P I also noticed he literally sawed that dude's head off. Yikes.
+ So Raphael left his host catatonic, Michael promised he wouldn't leave Dean the same way. Where does that leave Sam after the season finale and being Lucifer's host? Could his blank expression be a sign that he's not totally okay after being the devil's meatsuit and being in hell?
+ I think Raphael being so sure that God was dead is a testament to how ill-informed the angels are about their Father. This further backs up my theory that Cas could've been totally wrong about the amulet finding God.
+ Lucifer told Sam he'd simply bring him back if he tried to kill himself. But where was he when the boys were shot by those hunters and went to heaven in "Dark Side Of The Moon"? Maybe since they were whisked away to heaven so fast, he couldn't find them?

Zachariah: We may have planted that particular piece of prohecy inside Chuck's skull, but it happened to be true. We did lose the Michael sword, we truly couldn't find it. Until now, you've just hand-delivered it to us.
Dean: We don't have anything.
Zachariah: ...It's you, Chucklehead. You're the Michael sword.
Zachariah: You're Michael's weapon. Or rather his... receptacle.
Dean: I'm a vessel?
Zachariah: You're the vessel. Michael's vessel.
Dean: How? Why- why me?
Zachariah: Because you're chosen! It's a great honor, Dean.
Dean: Oh, yeah. Yeah, life as an angel condom. That's real fun. I think I'll pass, thanks.

Castiel: This is a den of iniquity. I should not be here.
Dean: Dude, you full-on rebelled against heaven. Iniquity is one of the perks!
Raphael: Castiel. I'm warning you. Do not leave me here. I will find you.
Castiel: Maybe one day. But today, you're my little bitch.
Dean: What he said.
Sam: [to "Jessica"] God knows how much I miss you. But you're wrong. People can change. There is reason for hope.
