VanCon Hotel Room Reserved!

raloriaFinally got this done! Phew! Big load off my mind to have our hotel room booked. :D
Mom & I are staying at the Best Western Hotel Vancouver Downtown like we did last year. It's a great hotel, clean, safe, convenient for the convention hotel (see behind the cut), has a White Spot restaurant, secure underground parking, and a wonderful staff.
I'll be walking to the convention's Sheraton Wall Centre hotel once again. I know some have questioned how far it is, so here you go. It's really not that far at all, under a mile both ways. It's about 5 blocks or 0.4395 miles (one way). I take Drake St. over to Burrard and walk to the convention hotel from there. Walking up Drake is a little bit uphill, but it's not too bad and Burrard is even less of an incline. :)
We'll be checking in Thursday, August 26th and check out Wednesday, Sept. 1st. We found out last year that I need to sleep in some on the Monday after the convention. Conventions are tiring!!!! We're staying an extra day this year, too, for location hunting purposes. I'm really hoping to be able to find where SPN is filming this time, since I missed out on that last time (more about that in my upcoming VanCon 09 reports).
Now I can quit worrying about having a room. ;) Two months baby! Whoo-hoo!!!! \0/
