This cap from S2 "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things".

How do you know you have too many caps? You fix a cap, save it directly into a PB album....and then can't find it! Ha! But I did find it in order to share with all of you. :)
Did a lot of sleeping yesterday and didn't get a whole lot else done with my day. But it wasn't a total loss. I made a bunch of fanart in the evening - 18 pieces in all. Whoo-hoo! Hmmm....I just realized it's Tuesday and I'm not posting a Sam cap. Oh, well...we'll pick him up later in the week I guess. ;)

I've been taking photos on the set every day for the film production I'm working on. I haven't made a complete count, but over the 21 days we've been filming I think I've probably got over 800 photos. I print them out at the end of each day, put them in a big 3-ring notebook, and everyone loves to look at them. The second question I usually hear when I arrive on set after "What are we filming today?" is "Where are the photos?". :D They're quite popular along with being useful for continuity reasons.

Naturally, members of the cast & crew have been pestering me to send them the photos. For my last film production over the summer, I used a Photobucket account to post selected pictures. However, I'm considering using something else this time, namely for the sheer volume of pictures. Flickr is a strong possibility. There's also been a lot of talk of setting up a MySpace page for the film, yet nobody seems eager to make one. I've been asked several times, but I know almost nothing about MySpace.

So here's what I'm asking...

Is Flickr a good choice for a lot of high quality (and large - 3264 x 2448) photos?
Or should I stick with Photobucket (which shrinks them down)?
What should I know about setting up a MySpace page for the film? Is it easy?
Do you have any other suggestions for photo hosting a large amount of pictures?

Any and all help/advice/suggestions is greatly appreciated. *hugs flist* :D

I should have changed this yesterday, but I was too out of it to do much of anything. Anyway, here is the second header of the week. The text is a lyric from Daniel Powter's song "Lie To Me".

One of my favorite Dark Angel episodes ever. It's full of fun and amusing moments (Logan & Alec hugging!, Normal describing Alec as a gladiator...) and has tons of half-naked Jensen to boot! Loved how cocky Alec was in the fight scenes...until Max totally beat his ass. Poor guy. *pets* Watch out for the drooling, 'cause these caps are HOT! :D

A special treat. I've re-uploaded the song played during the fighting match scenes. Take it and enjoy! Warning: F-word used extensively because this is not the clean version used in the eppy.

Well...crap.

I emailed the director about my mistakes on Sunday night. Apparently the red light from my camera did appear in the death scene shot. Damn. He told me not to stress too much over it and that he hopes the light can be taken out during the color correction process. His final statement: "Stuff happens. Apology accepted." That's all well and good, but we only have the one take. What if color correction doesn't take it out? It's a vital scene...and I screwed it up.

I feel like an idiot. It was such a stupid mistake. An amateurish mistake. I never take photos during a take. If I do anything, I'll take a short video. But the camera was near the end of it's battery power and I couldn't take a video of that shot. The only thing I can use as an excuse is that I was tired and obviously not thinking clearly. It's still no excuse though.

Damn. I feel awful. Here I am trying my best to do a good job on the film and I mess up an important scene that we can't reshoot easily. I utterly failed Sunday. It was the worst job I've done on any film I've worked on. I'm going to have another good cry now and then try not to think about this anymore.
