Just some ramblings...

It's so easy for me to get in a rut and boy, am I in one now. I keep getting to bed late, sleeping most of the next day, and then getting online and really not getting much accomplished. *sigh* It sucks and I hate it, yet I can't seem to stop. Hopefully, tonight (or this morning, depending on how you view time) I'll find a way.

The truth is, I have far too much to do and this is how I avoid doing any of it. I get lazy and I procrastinate. It's a very bad habit and I have to find a way to turn things around and get my life on a better schedule. So why am I telling all of you about this? Motivation. Maybe if I share my shortcomings I'll be able to take some action.

Anyway, I've said my piece about that. I'll let you know how I do tonight at getting to bed earlier.

I just finished watching "Return To Paradise" all on YouTube. I'd only seen the film once before, years ago, because of Joaquin Phoenix. He still totally rocks in that movie....so moving. I also found a long searched for movie soundtrack for "The Black Stallion" & "The Black Stallion Returns". Whoo-hoo! Thank goodness for Russian soundtrack forums! Hee! I find more stuff on those. It's great! I've just about found every rare and hard-to-find soundtrack I've been after now. All these years of hoping they'd come out on CD and the internet comes to the rescue! Thank goodness I'm patient and persistent. ;)

I'm going to get today's Just 'Cause cap and then go to bed. I'm determined. I will get to bed at a halfway descent hour. That way tomorrow (well, Tuesday) I can hopefully get up early and get some stuff done...like post my First Impressions for 4x11, and some DA and SPN caps. Not to mention getting those *sigh* over 1,000 photos of mine from the film production taken care of. Bah. I can't put it off any longer. Gotta get started. *iz bummed*

Hope you've enjoyed the little ramble. It's like drunk posting except I'm not drunk. Hee. Just tired I guess. Okay...time to start getting ready for bed....I promise. :)

I'll keep this brief. My First Impressions post for 4x11 will be up soon, followed by some caps. Probably DA and possibly some more deleted scenes from SPN. Haven't decided if I want to spam you all that much in one day. And it's foggy. Again. When is this stuff gonna lift already? Believe it or not, but I miss seeing Vancouver BC on my webcam sites. It's been days since I've seen the skyline! Hope the production likes filming in heavy fog. It'll be great for some creepy atmosphere. :)
Oh, heck....it's Tuesday and this should've been a Sammy cap. Oh, well. I'll get to him tomorrow.

Vancouver Con Posts

After your overwhelming response to my setting up a filter for my Vancouver Con posts, I've decided to not use a filter after all. It's not much of a filter when just about everyone's on it. :P

Here's what to expect in the coming months, up to the convention in late August:

* Posts about my planning for the con along with the usual squeeing about it all. :)

* All these posts will be Friends Locked, but as stated above, no longer filtered. I will post the bulk of posts behind a cut so if you don't want to read any of these posts, you're free to skip over them. Everything will be clearly labeled and tagged.

Once the convention is on and I'm there in Vancouver, I hope to be able to bring reports to you. I'm not making any promises, but I will try. Whatever happens, I will make posts about what happens at the convention and make them as detailed as I can. These will either be public posts or Friends locked posts - I haven't decided which yet.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, don't hesitate to let me know. I'm trying to my best to make this easy and comfortable for everyone, while still allowing me to post what I want to.
