Storytelling 101

To those who are concerned about the rest of SPN this season, I have this bit of screenwriting wisdom I picked up from my film classes.

This is basically the blueprint for storytelling, the 3 Act Structure:

1) Get your character up in a tree.
2) Throw rocks at him.
3) Then get him out of the tree.

Dean & Sam are in the "up in a tree" stage. Problem is...they're in separate trees. And those rocks being hurled at them are big, heavy, and inflicting a lot of damage, especially to Dean. Eventually they will get out of those trees. It's simply a matter of time.

Just 'Cause

Not much to say. I've got a nasty headache, bordering on migraine levels. Ouch! The painkillers I took didn't seem to help at all. Hopefully once I get some sleep and wake up it'll be gone. I've got a lot to get done: posts to do & comments to get to. Have a good weekend everyone.

Mmmph....need to wake up!

*grumbles* I'm so sleepy. Can't. Wake. Up. Ugh.

I overslept and now I can't seem to stay awake for more than 15 minutes. I'm cold and it's raining and I really don't want to go for my walk today. *snuggles into sweatshirt*

Dammit. I'm not getting anything done this way. *grumbles more*

Malik on the new series Castle!

I was checking out some of the guest stars of SPN last night on IMDB.com and came across this cool bit of news...

Charles Malik Whitefield will be on the 5th episode of the new ABC series "Castle"!



It airs April 6th. I'm already a fan/watcher of the show, so this is cool!!! :D
