SPN S6 Animations

I capped 6x01 overnight and decided to make a couple of animations.

They're only of the new title card and the "bumper" of the boys around the 6x02 promo. Enjoy! :D

Screaming in my head

Don't even know why I'm making this post and I'll probably regret it later, but here goes...

I'm under some real life stress right now and I've been tempted to talk about it here in a flocked entry, but I keep hesitating. I'm sure that talking about it to you, my flist, will help me, but it's a delicate situation. Meanwhile, keeping it all bottled up inside isn't helping me either. I'm starting to feel like Dean in Season 2 when he kept that secret of what John said from Sam. He couldn't keep his secret and I'm starting to doubt that I'll be able to keep mine. It gets real tough sometimes, especially in the evenings when things are quiet online and I feel most alone. Then it starts eating away at me.

So all the heavy posting over the past few weeks? In large part because I was avoiding this issue. Had to keep myself busy so I wouldn't think about it....but of course, I did. It still helped.

So yeah...pointless post is pointless as I continue being vague about this problem. I'm sure I'll spill my guts about it soon. It's getting increasingly more difficult to put on the brave face and pretend nothing is going on. Thanks for listening.

Sad-faced Dean. So tortured, so beautiful.
Had a lazy, sleepy Sunday, but still capped 6x01 in the evening. Must've taken me at least three hours and there's over 1,000 caps. Next will come my episode review, but don't ask me when it'll be. I only know it needs to be done before Friday. Have a good start to the week everyone. *hugs*

Music Monday: "Trouble" by Cat Stevens

I first heard this song when it was used in an episode of "Alias" and have loved it ever since. Everyone's got troubles and we'd all like them to "be kind" but they never are.

I've always thought this would be a good song for SPN as well. Goodness knows the boys have been through enough troubles to last 10 lifetimes.

Rant

THIS IS NOT AIMED AT ANYONE ON MY FLIST.

You know how you spend a couple of hours working on something, then you post it online, and you know people are looking at it and most likely taking it, but they're not commenting?

Grrrrrr. I hate that!

I have Site Meter. I can tell when people are visiting a certain post! When I see a number of people visiting a post and I get no comments...that bugs me. If I take someone's icon or wallpaper, I take the few seconds to thank them for their beautiful work and to let them know I was there.

Again, I know I'm ranting to you, my Flist, but this isn't about any of you. I know you guys comment on my stuff and I truly appreciate it. I just needed to vent. I'm sure a lot of this because of the stress and being tired. Doesn't help that I had a sucky night's sleep the other night either. *sigh*

To parts of Fandom

I'm really sick of people saying Eric Kripke should come back to the show and that Sera's ruined it.

1. Eric hasn't "left". He's simply not the show runner anymore. He's still a producer and still approves of things, just not at the capacity that he did before. I'm sick of people talking as if he's no longer involved in the show at all.

2. You've got to expect the show to be a little different. They finished a huge arc last season and are starting in a new direction.

3. It's only the first episode. You can't expect everything to be all neatly laid out in one 42 minute episode. A lot of things need to build up over time.

4. People change, so do TV characters. Look at what all the boys have been through. Sam's been to Hell, Dean's lived for a year without him. You can't expect them to be the same people we saw at the end of Season 5.

Update: SPN Season 6 Titles & Filming Dates

I've re-done the filming dates on the post, taking into account Canadian holidays I think they would've taken off and based on their 8 day filming schedule.
