I know there are plenty of caps out there of this video by Jensen & Steve and even though nobody asked for them, I figured I might as well cap it anyway. Besides, this way I can make icons. ;)

So feel free to snag the zipped folder of caps and even take the collages if you want.

A month after the convention and I'm finally ready to start posting my photos. :P
Hey, these things take time. Hopefully you'll think of these photos as a fine wine, worthy of the time it takes to perfect.

NOTE: If you're looking for my thoughts about the panels, you'll sadly be disappointed. I've learned that you either pay close attention to the guests (sometimes taking notes or Tweeting) or you take photos. You can't do both. It's impossible. At least I can't. So my memories of the panels is foggy at best. I'll have to watch videos shot by others to refresh my own memory. :P

After botching the photos of Kim with my flash, I think I did better with Steve's panel. A few were taken with flash, but most were taken without, enabling the background curtain and lights to shine through. I hadn't seen Steven since the first VanCon back in 2009 and I must admit my perception of him changed during this year's panel. Steve pointed out how he was raised to be a gentleman and hold open doors for women, etc. That really impressed me and I can see why Jensen is friends with him. I also admire how many projects he takes on and how much he enjoys what he does. :)

I've sorted thru my thousands of VanCon photos and have decided to share some early with you, my beloved Flist. They're not as big as the ones that I'll be sharing later on, but it'll give you a preview before anyone else.

Keep in mind that this was Day 1 and I was still searching for the right settings. My pics of Kim Rhodes are especially dark because I was using flash (which I would soon abandon for the other guests).
