These were taken with my smaller Canon camera and are not the greatest quality. My normal practice is to take a few shots with this camera at the beginning of each panel and then switch to my bigger Canon camera for the rest. I did no editing at all on these, they're simply presented "as is". Hopefully, you'll still find these pics enjoyable despite the light/contrast or blurriness issues. :)

Rachel is such an inspiration and it was sweet and touching to watch Rob & Rich carry her out to a chair on stage. We gave her a standing ovation and she was so appreciative and grateful to us. She gave advice, love, and a few sweet stories of working on the show.

After asking you all last month if I should post my photos of SPN filming 13x03 out on location last month after VanCon, I decided the best approach was to post cropped photos first. This way everyone gets a taste, there's no spoilers (unless you count Dean's typical clothing & the Impala as spoilery), and it's easier for me. Heh. I've 400-some photos and 19 videos of the filming that day, which will take some time to process and upload. So for me, the best option is to wait to post them after the episode airs. Hope you enjoy the teasers, though! :D

Warning! Even though I consider this post to be spoiler-free, you might feel differently. I cropped all the photos closely around Jensen and the Impala and you will see nobody else except for a few fans and crew members. No guest stars / other actors are visible at all! I don't even show you much of the location.

We end the week's postings with a couple of really great performances from the SNS!
I'd never heard Emily Swallow sing before, never even watched her in any con videos before this. Man! Can she sing! Soooooo much love for her duet with Rob! Btw, you should really check out the Official Video of the song by Shakey Graves! Dark and creepy, yet oh, so right for the song! And this live performance of the song is great as well.

And then we get my favorite Louden Swain song: Eskimo! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

One of the great things about this year's SNS is that we got so many new songs! Here we get one of those from Matt Cohen...along with a new song by Louden Swain.

Our last surprise guest was Osric Chau!!! He didn't sing a song though...no, he had a song sung to him! Btw, if you watch the first video you'll notice some major camera shake and black screen in the middle. Well, that's because Jason Manns started going though Osric's backpack and pulled out a pair of grey underwear. Which he then rolled up and tossed into the crowd - and right at me! Amazingly, I caught them with my left hand (I was holding my camera in the right hand). I didn't even think about it. It was just a gut reaction to reach out and catch them. I quickly looked around to see if anyone wanted to take the garment off my hands and a gal next to me eagerly took them. But then almost immediately, a gal approached us (I'm assuming she was a Creation volunteer) and took the underwear away. So yeah, I caught the underwear....hope they were clean. LOL

And of course, you can't have Karaoke without singing the show's unofficial theme song at the end. Seemed a little odd that they didn't invite the Creation volunteers onto the stage as they usually do. Maybe because they're paid now? Anyway, singing that song with the cast and fellow fans is always such a magical moment. :D

Really love seeing Gil dance with Emily and Carrie Genzel in the second video. *g*

I don't normally take photos during Karaoke, preferring to shoot video instead, but I did snap a few photos at the beginning and then of the group hug for Osric!

Briana brought her daughter, Valentina, on the stage. So cute! Sadly, I missed Emily hugging Rob inappropriately. lol So great to meet Emily at last. Such strong, great women on our show!

So nice to see Samantha again, it's been a while since we've had her at VanCon. She got several questions about that emotional scene with Jensen in 12x22 and she gave all the credit to him for it (though IMO she was equally excellent).
