I first saw Jensen on Dark Angel in Season 1 when he played the out of control, Ben. Even then he had something special. You couldn't wait to see what he would do next. Then they brought him back as a regular in Season 2, as Alec. He was rough around the edges, but totally lovable. After that I sort of lost track of Jensen until SPN began. He was the whole reason I started watching the new show, but I was intrigued by the story and these 2 brothers. By the time Dean was fighting for his life in "Faith", I was totally hooked. Jensen has made Dean Winchester one of the most interesting characters on TV. A lovable jerk, with a fierce family loyalty, and heroism running through his veins, who will do anything to save the innocent from the evil things in the darkness. Constantly self-tortured, Dean never feels he's good enough or worth saving, but his pride and joy is equally his brother, Sam, and his beloved Impala.

Of course, once I became enamored with SPN, I went back and watched Jensen on DOOL, Smallville, and a few other early roles. His talent is undeniable, but then you toss in his perfectly gorgeous good looks, devilish charm, wicked sense of humor, and gentle, caring way, and you've got a guy who seems to be just about the most perfect male on the planet. Plus he sings and plays guitar! An amazing husband and father, a great friend, a brother, a son. He's a gifted director and whether behind the camera or on a stage he commands attention and easily steps up into a leadership role. On top of all that, when he's speaking or listening to you it's as if he's looking right into your very soul. And his smile lights up a room! How can you not love him???

I could fill a book with all the praise over Jensen, but I'll digress to the pretty of the man himself. *g*
Below the cut is a big collection of my photos of Jensen from all the VanCons since 2009 and SeaCon from 2015. I feel so fortunate to have seen Jensen in person so many times. Like me, my camera loves him and it's always focusing on his physical beauty, while showing us what a beautiful person he is inside.
Happy 39th Birthday, Jensen! ♥ :)

Somehow Monday afternoon my to-do list fell by the wayside and I suddenly got the urge to do some capping.
The sudden need to drool over Jensen helped too. *g*

So, um....I capped 12 episodes of Smallville's 4th Season with Jensen as Jason Teague. *guh*

Gee, thanks CW. Brilliant decision you made there. SPN's return got delayed for nothing. NOTHING.

'Smallville' and 'Supernatural' bump: CW decision may backfire from Zap2it.com

By airing reruns of "The Vampire Diaries" and "Nikita" 2011 premieres on Friday, without the "Idol" competition, the network would give the episodes a better chance at being seen by the full audience. To TV insiders, the move did make sense -- you've got to make sure the cash cow is well-fed.

Here's the problem: that massive ratings dip that "The Vampire Diaries" and "Nikita" were expected to suffer didn't happen. Both series maintained viewership consistent with the first half of their seasons. Apparently, fans of The CW's Thursday lineup are die-hard enough to stick with their shows, even with the temptation of Steven Tyler and J.Lo on FOX.

In other words... they didn't really need to move "Smallville" and "Supernatural" after all.

Oh, and here's another great article about what this delay could cost: Spoilertv.com: Supernatural and Smallville - What The Delay Could Cost Them

So this whole thing was unnecessary. What you wanna bet the reruns of Nikita & TVD on Friday night didn't garner higher ratings either? What about all those Smallville & SPN fans who didn't hear about the switch and tuned in and were shocked to see something else on their TVs instead? They gotta be wondering what the hell happened when all the ads said the shows would be returning on the 28th.

I'm actually more pissed now than I was yesterday. It's still not about waiting an extra week, it's about the network making a stupid decision that could cost them and our shows a lot down the road.

I'm sure you've all heard the news by now about the CW postponing the returns of Smallville & Supernatural until Feb. 4th. I came home late to this news all over my flist. Haven't even gotten to catching up on Twitter, but from what I read on LJ it's been a firestorm over there, too.

Honestly, I'm not angry. Disappointed is more like it. Yes, I was looking forward to seeing the new episode. I've been missing the boys for weeks and the hiatus has really been long. On the other hand...it's only one more week, so....meh. Not a huge deal after a couple of months.

What upsets me is the CW waiting until practically the last minute to announce the change. Bad move network, BAD MOVE. I've read from one of my flisters who visited the set that the crew didn't even know about the postponement.

In the grand perspective of things, one more week isn't a big deal, but the way the CW did this is disrespectful to the fans of both shows. These are 2 of the biggest ratings winners of the network along with being 2 of the oldest shows. Not a good idea to piss off their fans in favor of bumping up the ratings for other shows. I don't even see what the point is of repeating The Vampire Diaries & Nikita especially on a night that is not their normal air day.

I'm also hearing about outraged fans, lots of irate posts & comments on the CW's forum, nasty tweets, etc. Btw, nothing against fans who have sent calm, respectful complaints to the network. I get people are angry, but honestly, the network isn't going to listen. They've made their decision and that's that. Threatening, belittling, and who knows what else is not going to change anything. They probably won't even see it. Like I said, the decision's been made. Time to move on and deal with the situation folks.

'Cause let's face it...TV network execs make stupid decisions all the time. This is just one of many and it won't be the last. Look how many good shows the networks never give a chance and just cancel or how many shows they move around so viewers have to guess where they'll show up next week.

We all know the CW will never give SPN the kind of love and devotion we fans will, so all we can do is what matters the most...keep watching SPN no matter what. Because it's ratings that the network cares about.

And on that note...

While I'm also a fan of The Vampire Diaries (not like SPN, but I do enjoy it a lot) I missed Thursday's eppy. Now I could go ahead and watch the rerun tonight, but you know what? I'm not going to. I'm going to boycott the CW tonight and watch TVD another way (yay for downloads *g*). Why should I support the network's stupid decision against SPN? If it's ratings for TVD & Nikita they seek so much, I'm sure not gonna help them. Gotta send a message to the network in a way they'll notice and ratings rule. Feel free to join me in my one time Friday night boycott.

So there you have it. Not angry, not really upset. I'm more disappointed and bummed out than anything else. Boo! CW. You suck! :(

I was doing some googling the other night, which I do frequently just to see what new things I might find, and I did find some new goodies. Well...new to me anyway. I'm sure these will be well known to a lot of you, but just in case some of them aren't, I thought I'd post them. I'm also gonna flock this post because...well...some of this stuff isn't supposed to be reposted. Shhhhhhhh...*shifty eyes* You know...copyright issues and stuff. Like that ever stops us. Heh. But still...just to be safe, this is only for you, my flisters. *hugs*

A multitude of goodies...pics, interviews, & a music vid )

Just finished watching "Crusade" and "Gone" of Smallville's S4 (the first & second episodes). I'd only seen some of these episodes off the TV, but it was a while ago. Bought the DVD set last year but didn't have the time to watch them until now. Plus, my mom was still watching seasons 1-3 from the public library and now she's up to S4, so we're watching it together. Btw, mom didn't want to watch it tonight, but I finally wore her down. She said I must be going through withdrawl without my weekly Jensen fix! Which is totally true! So she relented and I drooled every time Jensen appeared on the screen. LOL!

I totally forgot how incredibly HOT Jensen was as Jason!!!! That kiss in the church? *GUH* I need to make an animation of that....like yesterday. My God that was a smoldering kiss! And to do that in a church? *thinks very naughty thoughts* Wow!

And he even follows her from Paris all the way home to Smallville! Can I have Jason as my boyfriend? Hee! :D

I really can't wait to start capping these discs now. I'm not ashamed to admit I backed up that church kiss a few times. :P

Oh, and the dialog for that scene...squeeeeee!

Lana: (kissing Jason) Jason, stop it. We're in a church and I have an art history project to finish!
Jason: Okay, when my girlfriend invites me to an old crypt for some brass rubbing, I thought it was code for something else.
Lana: Mr. Teague, you have a dirty mind.
Jason: But I have a pure heart.

I'm off to bed now...hope I have some steamy dreams of Jason! :D

Supernatural Media's Legacy site has just posted new photos of the boys. These are early pics of a failed pilot "Close To Home", "Smallville", and what looks like a couple of pics from "Gilmore Girls" to me.

A couple of the Jensen pics, look like ones we've seen before, but the ones of Jared are all new to me. There's also a new header at the site of young Jared.

Remember, these are just hints of the full-sized beauties the site will release later on. :)
