It's been 36 days of extremely hard work, but...I'm finally DONE!

Or at least as done as I'm going to be with the list this year. I know there's things missing, there's probably some mistakes here and there I didn't catch, and who knows what else, but I did it! It's finished! \0/

Everything is now on the Master Post, including all the PDF downloads and the Google Map link, along with some notes about it. I hope these lists will prove useful to everyone planning on location hunting in Vancouver and for those who can't go there, but just like to see where everything was shot at.

I want to take this time to thank all my friends, lurkers, followers, etc. for their patience with me during this past month. This project has taken up all my time and I know I haven't been the best LJ friend because of it. I apologize for neglecting you all. Things will get back to normal next month. Thank you for all your encouragement and your comments and PMs. They've meant so much to me. *HUGS* :D

Okay, one more time...and the last time. I'M DONE!!!!! The Locations Lists are finished! Finally!!!! And yes, now I'll stop talking about them. Heh. Time to move onto other things. You know...like getting ready for a certain event. Little things like that. :P Phew! I'm tired. Time to get some well deserved sleep. Happy start to the week everyone. *hugs*

Random Randomness

Got on the PC today and realized I don't have the LL to work on. Such a weird feeling, but there's plenty left to do. Yikes! 3 days!!!

++ First of all, because Jason Manns just Tweeted this pic of him and Jensen after a round of golf (which Jensen won, of course!). Pure LOVE! *flails*



++ Today is packing and printing day. Gonna start packing for VanCon and printing out the LL, Tickets, etc.

++ Still hoping I can whip out some collages in Picknik to print for autographs.

++ Gonna try to squeeze in a walk this afternoon. It's been far too long. Need to get my body ready to hit those downtown Vancouver streets.

++ Working on putting together a CD of music for this VanCon trip. I made one last year. I'll share the playlist for most of the songs from that CD in a bit here. Ah, the memories!

++ Gonna try....really REALLY try to finish posting about last year's VanCon in these final days. 'Cause when else am I gonna do it? Everything's ready to go, it's just a matter of typing up what little I remember. lol But I wanna get it online before I do this year's.

++ Now that the LL is done I'm starting to get excited. Staring at my new shiny header really helps too! *g*

++ Can happily report my cough is basically gone! I've gone days without coughing, though I have coughed a little today, I'm not worried about it coming back. I so wanted this to be gone for the Con, so I'm a happy camper. :)

++ Still trying to figure out what to do about my Jensen photo-ops this time. I've got 2! Twice as much time next to Jensen! *squee* I figure the first will be a basic pose (do I dare ask for a hug this time?), but what do I do about the 2nd one??? Any suggestions? Anyone??? Halp!!!

++ Hope you're ready to be spammed a bit. Even with so much going on today, I still think I've got a bunch of things to post. :P


I think that's it for now. Packing & printing time for me!!!! *bounces* :D

Music Monday: My VanCon 09 Playlist

Special Edition of Music Monday today with part of the playlist I made for last year's VanCon. These were songs that I'd gotten hooked on in the few months before the Con, many of them from listening to Shore 104 FM up in Vancouver online. I burned all of these songs and a few others onto a CD to take along up to Van. Sadly, I didn't get to play it until our last day, but it was great fun to have this music blasting on the long drive home at night after an amazing weekend. :D Of special note is the 2nd song, "You Don't See It" by The Duhks. This became THE SONG for me, representing VanCon itself. I really have no reason for it, except that I love the song and heard it a couple of times in stores when I was shopping for the trip. I took it as a good sign. That I was really meant to go to the convention. :)

Walking: Last ditch effort

Been nearly a week and a half since I last walked. *sigh* :(
Three days left at home before VanCon, so I figured I'd better get my legs used to the idea of walking again. It's not nearly the amount of time I would've liked, but what can you do now? *shrugs* At least the weather is nice, with temps in the low 70s, though a little more breeze woulda been nice. Took the big loop in Cherry Park and then the big loop w/out the hill in our neighborhood. Thought of doing more, but by the time I did those loops I knew I was finished. The new gel insoles in my shoes kept my feet from hurting, but my left hip and back were complaining a little. Must be all that poor posture in front of the computer over the past few days from finishing the LL. :P Oh, well. I'll try to walk tomorrow and Wednesday, too, if I can. Have thought of walking Wed. w/ my backpack to simulate the walking conditions in Vancouver. I know that was a big wake-up call for me last year. Didn't take into account that added weight!

It's been many months since VanCon, so perhaps writing about it all now is more than a little crazy. However, it was my first convention experience and I can easily say one of the best weekends of my life. I still look back on those 6 days with great fondness and hopefully I'll be able to remember the important stuff. ;)
