I'm done!!!! :D
Just getting this finished under the challenge deadline. Phew! :P
Keep in mind I haven't done a fanfic in a while AND this is my first ever fanfic for a challenge. *hides* I hope I did alright. I hope it qualifies as schmoop. *hopes*

This way to brotherly cuddling... )

Not sure who'll be interested in this, just thought I'd post about it for general knowledge purposes.

All the info this way... )

After going silent on me for several months, my Crazy Muse decided it was time to get back to work on a few little stories I had rattling around in my brain.

Can't believe I haven't posted a fic since January! No wonder I'm so nervous! Eeep.

Another typically angsty fic from me... )

Fanfic sightings that make you go ewwwww.... )

Apparently me watching S3 episode clips equals my Crazy Muse going off on a tangent and wanting me to write something. *sigh*

So in a nutshell, she came up with an end of the series fic. It's literally the last maybe 10 or 15 minutes of the series. It's sad and heartbreaking (you know me and my angst!), but in the end it's happy and hopeful. *squee* :D

I really need to try and get this typed out, but I don't have time right now. Here's hoping it vegetates in my brain overnight and doesn't change too much. It all kind of came together in about 15 minutes. Gah!!!!! Muse....why do you do this to me?????

Stole this from [livejournal.com profile] bobbinrob. :D

Post a single sentence from each WIP you have (or as many as you want to pick). No context, no explanations. No more than one sentence.

:: There was nothing except for the upturned room and the red marks of his brother's blood.

:: "No matter what I do it's like I'm still there."

Only two, 'cause that's all I've got written out right now. The rest are all up in my head yet. *nudges muse* :P

I know a lot of you are waiting for the sequels to Unwilling To Let Go, but my Crazy Muse thought of some other, shorter fics to write in the meantime. She can be as persistent as Dean with pie within his reach.

I haven't really written anything in a while and I feel a little rusty. Hopefully this isn't too bad.

My Mystery Spot Fanfic this way... )

I've been meaning to post this for several days now. My Crazy Muse needs some feedback. After all I've only got *eeep!* a month to two months approximately to get these two sequels for "Unwilling To Let Go" written and posted. Yikes! Time to buckle down and actually get these things typed up!

Just to catch everyone up with this fanfic series of mine...I wrote "Unwilling To Let Go" back in May of 2007. It was my take on how Dean was going to die and go to Hell....way before Season Three even began. I received numerous requests to continue the story, so I've been working on two sequels ever since. Part Two is called "Walking Through Hellfire" and Part Three is called "Blood and Bone and Fire". I posted a preview section of "Walking Through Hellfire" in April. I suggest reading those two posts first before you venture into this one. With this entry I'll give you taste of Part Three "Blood and Bone and Fire".

A scene from the third part of my sequel to Unwilling To Let Go... )

This was written a week ago, but I was struggling with the ending and just now got it finished. Silly Muse...giving me this fic and then leaving me hanging on how to end it. Bah. The title kinda sucks. I always struggle to come up with good titles.

This is still angsty (do you honestly expect anything different from me?), but it's not overly high on the angst-meter. Well, okay...maybe it is kinda up there. Heh. Sorry to the Sammy fans, but he's out of it for this story. :)

Dean POV fic.... )

raloria: (Default)
I can't seem to help myself. I've just got to post part of my sequel fic that I've got typed out. What can I say? My Muse needs feedback. Think of it as a sneak preview. I'm sure it will change as I type up the rest of the fic, so this is by no means set in stone. Hopefully, it won't spoil you for the rest of the story.

Just a short scene from my sequel to Unwilling To Let Go... )

raloria: (Default)
Wow! I just wrote over 1,500 words on one of my fanfic sequels! Yaaaay me! :D

It's one of those things where you finish and go, "Huh? Where did that come from?" LOL Whoah! I wasn't planning on doing any writing tonight...it just sort of happened. That Muse of mine....she's a bit crazy and unpredictable.

Just as a little reminder, I'm writing 2 sequels to my fanfic "Unwilling To Let Go". In other words, it's in two parts. They already have titles. Part two is "Walking Through Hellfire" and part three is "Blood and Bone and Fire". The scene I just wrote is for the third part. This is only the second scene I've written, even though I've got the main story already all written in my head. Now it's just a matter of getting it all typed out. But lately my Muse has been away (I think she went down to the LA Con to see Jensen....LOL :P) and the words just haven't been coming. So writing this scene caught me totally off guard. Silly Muse.

Btw, "Unwilling To Let Go" is my take on how Dean is taken down to Hell once his deadline is up. This was written before the character of Ruby was even announced, so she's not there. The sequels then deal with Sam finding a way to bring Dean back and then Dean's recovery. Just to clue you in, I don't make it easy on the poor guy. You know me and my love of angst. ;)

I'm tempted to give you guys a little bit of the text, but I'm not sure I'm ready to do that yet. Don't want to give too much away. ;)

Meanwhile, I'm gonna be off to bed soon. Got a busy day ahead. I'm off to help videotape the call backs on the film project I've been invited to work on. It's not much, but it should be an interesting few hours. I'll report more about it later.

Forgive me if I ramble...I'm running on no sleep this morning. Not to worry...I'm sure I'll crash after lunch. LOL. I was supposed to make this post last night, but, well...let's just say I was detained by a relative.

What was & what is to come:

* Feb. 20th -- Made my first Just 'Cause cap post. I'm up to my 7th day of these and they're still popular.

* If you haven't had a chance, you can read my latest fanfic: "Sam & Dean Meet The LJ Gremlins". It's not my normal genre, but it was fun to write.

* Made my Mystery Spot animation of Dean going "Dude...Asia". I still smile whenever I look at it. :)

* Still having troubles with my new Vista PC. Yesterday I established that it's crashing exactly every hour. Weird. I'll be making a phone call about it sometime this week. I may very well end up going back to Windows XP.

* Because of my computer problems, I still haven't completely capped 3.12 yet, so my First Impressions post is still pending. Worst comes to worst, I'll just take a couple of caps here on the Mac and use them.

* Watched the Oscars Sunday night. I hadn't seen any of the nominated films, so I had no favorites, but I almost always watch the awards anyway, being the filmmaker/film geek that I am. :) Loved seeing all the fashions (how 'bout those red dresses?), George Clooney *swoons*, and Jon Stewart host a classy show.

* Can somebody slow down the week? I'm still trying to get my big Jensen birthday post done by Saturday. Made a little progress yesterday, but I still haven't typed up my post or really even decided what all I'm going to include.

* I'm going to get that UNC Achordants music post up this week, too. No more delays....it's getting posted!

* Still need to catch up on more comments, especially the older ones. *resolves to get more of them done today* :)

*hugs flist* Okay...lunch, nap, & then back to LJ.

Since it's Friday, I thought I'd finally get this fanfic posted. Something fun to kick off the weekend. Enjoy! And please leave me some comments, okay? I'd really love to know what you think of this. :)

I've been trying to figure out how to post this fanfic for a little while now. Do I leave it "as is" considering it was originally typed up in an IM chat window? Or fill it out and type it out properly like more normal fic. I couldn't get "normal" to work and since this fic is quite a departure for me anyways, I went with quasi-normal. Heh. It actually reads more like a script than a narrative story. This is not my normal type of fic, so feedback on concrit would be really appreciated.

No angst in this story... )

raloria: (Default)
This story came to me as I was looking through my caps from IMTOD a few weeks ago. All the feelings Dean was going through at the end of that episode pushed my Muse into action.

It soon became not just another angst-ridden fanfic, but a reflection of my own feelings over my dad's death last year.

Edit: Please don't be shy about leaving me comments for this fic. I really do want to know your opinion about it because it's sort of a departure from the normal way I write. - Thanks!

Warning: very sad fic ahead -- keep those tissue boxes handy.... )

I've got a whole list of projects I've got planned to post to my LJ, hopefully in the near future. While this list is mainly for my own use, I thought all of you might like to know what I'm working on.

There's a few of these that are practically ready to be posted or are nearly finished. I suspect I'll have more time to work on these once the DA picspams come to an end in a few weeks.

My list of future posts... )

Things have been a little quiet around here for a couple of days, so it seems a little status report is in order. This will be a bit of a random post, so bear with me!

All the latest news behind the cut )

I realize I'm supposed to be working on my review for AHBL Part Two, but my writing muse suddenly decided to make an unexpected appearance. I'd been toying with writing a little end tag for part one, but just couldn't get anything to materialize. Then I read all the many other end tag fanfics out there already. I couldn't really improve on any of those, so I gave up the idea.

Then I was catching up on the latest SPN online items when this new story popped into my head. The whole thing was typed out in about 30 minutes. Phew! When my writing muse kicks in there's just no ignoring her. :)

My fanfic behind the cut... )

raloria: (Default)
I read a lot of fan fiction. Before SPN I read a lot of fan fiction for some of my favorite TV shows. My collection of SPN fan fiction numbers about 500 stories and I read some just about every day. I've even managed to write a few myself, but my writing muse doesn't kick in very often.

My point here, is that I'm quite the fanfic reader and over time I've run across several things that seem to repeatedly appear in SPN fan fiction and sometimes in fan fiction in general. Call them pet peeves if you like, but I see them so often in the fanfic I read that they've become major annoyances.

This way to my little Pet Peeve list... )

raloria: (Default)
My muse has gotten completely distracted by Jensen. And my latest picspam of Dean hasn't helped any at all. I'm already about 2 weeks late in turning in a second set of 5 script pages for my Scriptwriting class. But part of that is because I got sick a couple of weeks ago, which put me behind.

A fun little fic describing what my Muse has been up to... )
